DESCRIPTION:This event has been postponed\, new date TBA.\n\n\n\n\nThe Original Tribute to the classic UK Britpop era.\nDrawing the name from the classic Bluetones song\, Marblehead Johnson\, Marblehead pay tribute Britpop music scene\, recreating classic Britpop anthems with a powerful combination of passion and quality\, bringing the harder-hitting sound that the bands produced in their live shows.\nPlaying songs from Blur\, The Bluetones\, Paul Weller\, The Verve\, Ocean Colour Scene\, Supergrass\, Pulp and\, of course\, Oasis\, glory in the anthems that brought British alternative rock into the mainstream.\nMarblehead are a five-piece\, 100% live band performing across the UK and have previously performed with Razorlight\, The Icicle Works\, SPACE and The Bluetones very own Mark Morriss where he dedicated his song 'Marblehead Johnson' to the band.\nWhy have a tribute to one Britpop band when you can have a tribute to them all. Marblehead - the Original Britpop Experience.

DESCRIPTION:  \n\nDave McCabe Announces second UK Tour with James Jay Lewis \nAfter recently stepping out with his debut solo single “When You’re Young”\, Dave McCabe is heading back on the road this November for a run of UK dates\, joined once again by special guest\, James Jay Lewis. \nBest known as the voice and songwriter behind The Zutons\, McCabe’s move into solo territory has already made a strong impression. “When You’re Young”  has been tremendously well received and already a firm live favourite. \nEarlier this year\, McCabe and Lewis played a run of shows together that quickly gathered momentum\, with packed rooms and a great response night after night. This new tour builds on that\, taking them to more venues across the UK through November and into December. \nMcCabe’s set draws from material throughout his rich writing career\, from Zutons classics\, to songs he wrote for other artists and glimpses of his new music\, the second of which will be released in advance of the tour. \nJay Lewis is a perfect fit for the bill. A Liverpool-born multi-instrumentalist\, he’s worked with Cast and The La's over the years\, and has been steadily building his own solo following.
