Description

Ruthin, it’s time to have a proper laugh together.

Introducing Comedy Calling, a brand‑new stand‑up night at The Assembly Room, launching on 3 September and returning throughout the year.

We’re bringing brilliant comedians right to your doorstep, including the musical genius of Sam Hickman and the globe trotting mainstay of the comedy circuit Nick Doody, with more names joining the lineup soon.

Holding it all together is our host Silky, a much‑loved comedy veteran who’s been running nights across the UK for years.

If you’ve never been to a comedy night before, this is the perfect one to try — friendly, relaxed, and full of great acts who know how to get a room laughing.

Come along, support live comedy, and enjoy a night out that’s guaranteed to lift your spirits.
